Charlotte and Jordan | East Rosebud | Engagement

Sometimes you just know the first time you meet someone that you are going to be great friends. That is exactly how we felt with Charlotte and Jordan! Though we live in the same town, we'd never met until the two won our engagement photo session giveaway on Instagram after New Years.

Neal and I met Charlotte for coffee and immediately clicked. The couple are high school sweethearts, love to hunt together, and are outdoorsy and athletic. They wanted snowy winter photos and we immediately started talking about where we should go for an adventure shoot!

We decided on the East Rosebud drainage of the Beartooth Mountains for the engagement session, since their favorite hunting spot is in the area. The day Neal and I scouted, it was fairly calm, but on photo shoot day, there were 50+ mph winds. We broke through huge drifts on the way into the canyon, and didn't see another soul during the shoot.

Charlotte and Jordan weren't phased! They hopped out of their truck with smiles on and embraced the conditions with a sense of adventure.

The two love their fur babies, and the dogs were happy to run and play.

Their love is so evident in the way they look at one another!

On our way in, we saw incredible drifts across the road, and Neal knew he wanted to make that our last location. They take all their adventures in Jordan's pickup, so it felt right to include it as part of the story.

We warmed up with dinner & drinks at the Grizzly Bar before heading back to Billings. This couple is going to have an incredible wedding this October and we cannot wait to help make their dreams a reality!
