A grand cross-country roadtrip adventure with eight of your best friends - and a hiking elopement to an alpine lake to top it all off! That was Jenny & George's wedding vision and it was one of the most fun elopements we've had the opportunity to photograph.
It was the small things throughout the day that made this so memorable: George using his reflection in the lake to put on his tie while Jenny got into her dress up in the trees. George's brother "fishing" the champagne out of the lake. Endless twirls in Jenny's princess gown, and George's propensity for funny faces. We all laughed so hard our cheeks hurt.
That is the beauty and joy of an adventure elopement. Jenny's motto was that the day would be perfectly imperfect - so no matter what came our way (like having to change destinations after the once-in-a-lifetime flooding destroyed their original destination), the day was always going to be amazing. Because they were in their happy place in the mountains with their closest people celebrating their forever love. And that's what it's all about!
